Rachel Monroe serves as the Philanthropy & Communications Director at Almost Home, Inc., a local nonprofit dedicated to preventing and addressing housing instability in Weld, Adams, and Broomfield counties. With eight years at Almost Home, Rachel holds a BA in Nonprofit Management and a minor in Human Services, bringing over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. As part of the Almost Home leadership team, she is dedicated to establishing a robust foundation for the organization, ensuring it can continue offering vital programs and services for those facing housing challenges well into the future. For the past three years, Rachel has been an active board member of the Fort Lupton Chamber. Driven by her passion for community service and volunteering, during her leisure time she enjoys attending live music events, hosting gatherings at her home, and spending quality time with friends.

Ivan Dobesh is the owner and operator of Longview Heating & Air, a Fort Lupton based heating and air conditioning service company. Ivan is the current Fort Lupton Chamber of Commerce vice president and has been a member since 2022. He has served on the board of directors since July of 2024. When not at work, Ivan can usually be found spending time with his wife and two kids. His priorities are: God, family and teamwork.

Don Tomoi joined the Bank of Colorado in 1983.  He currently serves as Market President overseeing the Fort Lupton branch, a position he has held since 1989.  Don is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in Finance and  the Graduate of School of Banking in Boulder.  Beyond banking, he is deeply involved in the Fort Lupton community, actively participating in organizations such as the Fort Lupton Chamber of Commerce, Fort Lupton Development Corporation, and the Fort Lupton Community Foundation.  Don resides in Fort Lupton, proudly contributing to the growth and prosperity of the place he calls home.

Mariann Johnston was born and raised in Fort Lupton and began working for Bank of Colorado in 1976 after graduating from high school. She later took time off to raise her family. After returning to Bank of Colorado in 2000, Mariann took on various roles, including teller, loan assistant, and new accounts representative, ultimately earning the position of Senior Vice President of Operations. With a deep passion for Bank of Colorado and its values, Mariann describes her career as incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. Mariann will retire from Bank of Colorado January 31, 2025. Mariann and her husband also own and manage their bee business, Gary Johnston Apiaries and have since 1977. Mariann continues to manage their business.

Chairwoman of the Fort Lupton Housing Authority and board member of both the Fort Lupton Development Corporation and the Fort Lupton Community Foundation. Proud wife to Randy, mother to James, Jurhee, and Jonathan, and loving Meemaw to Max.

My name is Debra Smith and I am currently employed at Weld Re-8 Schools.  With over 25 years of dedicated service in Weld Re-8 School District, I am a committed advocate for education and community growth. I am deeply involved in the community and passionate about initiatives that enhance local business, economic development, and quality of life for residents. I am also a resident of Fort Lupton along with my husband and three children.  I am dedicated to fostering strong partnerships between businesses in our community, schools and local organizations.

Which I love very much!  I was born and raised in Colorado, graduated from Brighton High school in 1979 and started working for United Power in July of 1981.  I have been with the company for 43 years and I work as a Right of Way Agent in the Legal Department.  My husband Richard and I moved to Fort Lupton in 2017 and have been here for 8 years. We love it here. It has a quiet and warm atmosphere which is very homey and comfortable.
